We have nothing to eat, drink or sheets to spread on the ground. Our children are starving."<br/> <br />The migrants say they are especially hard hit.<br/> <br />Many of them come from the western province of Gujarat.<br/> <br />What they want now more than anything else is to return to their home towns.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Hindi) A MIGRANT MAN, MOHIT, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We want to be sent back.
