A hat trick for unionists in Scotland.<br/> <br />Clackmannanshire was the earliest Scottish local authority to declare, "No" -- rejecting leaving the UK.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) CHIEF COUNTING OFFICER, MARIE PITCAITHLY, GIVING RESULTS FOR CLACKMANNANSHIRE SAYING:<br/> <br />"The local authority in question is Clackmannanshire. The number of ballot papers counted 35,410. The turnout was 88.6 percent. The number of 'Yes' votes: 16,350. The number of 'No' votes: 19,036 and there were 24 rejected papers.
