With 4,478 meters above sea-level, Matterhorn is one of the highest mountains of the Alps. It has always been a dream of mountaineers to climb this prominent peak. <br />2015 marks the 150th anniversary of the dramatic first ascent. On this occasion, Swiss mountain sports outfitters Mammut presents Zermatt with an unforgettable vision: by installing 60 light sources along Hörnligrat, they will illuminate the route up to Matterhorn peak for one evening. <br />A 20-man group of professional athletes, mountain guides and experienced Mammut employees will provide a view of Matterhorn as never seen before!
