It consists of spicy curry and is topped with some delicious misal chivda/sev and farsan. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />२ tbsp तेल <br />१ tsp राई <br />१०-१२ कड़ी पत्ता <br />१/४ tsp हींग <br />अदरक लहसुन हरी मिर्ची की पेस्ट <br />१ बारीक कटा हुआ प्याज़ <br />३ बारीक कटे हुए टमाटर <br />१/४ tsp हल्दी <br />१ tsp कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर <br />१/२ tsp धनिया जीरा पाउडर <br />१ tsp आचार मसाला <br />नमक <br />४ cup पानी <br />१ & १/२ cup मूंग <br />मिसल चिवड़ा <br />धनिया पत्ता <br /> <br /> <br />Method: <br />- In a pan, heat 2 tbsp. of oil. <br />- Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, coarsly ground paste of ginger, garlic and chilli and saute it all properly in the oil. <br />- Then add 1 big finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomatoes, 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder, 1 tsp. kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp. coriander and cumin seed powder and 1 tsp. pickle masala into the above ingredients. <br />- Cook the tomatoes till they are nice and soft. <br />- Then add a generous amount of salt into the ingredients. <br />- Once the tomatoes are nicely cooked, add about 3 1/2 to 4 cups of water to it and let the water boil for about 5-7 minutes. <br />- Add sprouted moong to the above ingredients and let it cook for about 5-6 minutes. <br />- Once the sprouts are cooked, add some coriander leaves to it. <br />- Serve the misal with some misal chivda sprinkled on the top or garnish it with some finely chopped onions. <br /> <br />Credits: <br />Director: Narayan Thakur <br />Camera: Narayan Thakur / Jay Nayak <br />Editing: Ravi Varma <br />Script: Zeal Dhruna <br />Voice Over: Mohita Namjoshi <br />Creative Head: Kavya Krishnaswamy <br />Producer: Rajjat A.
