Rajkot (West) seat was earlier occupied by BJP’s Vajubhai Vala. He vacated the seat following his appointment as Governor of Karnataka. Now, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has fielded former Rajya Sabha MP Vijaybhai Rupani on Rajkot (West) assembly seat.
