A report from the US Centres for Disease Control and prevention (CDC) says between half a million people and 1.4 million people could be infected by the Ebola virus by January.<br /><br />The CDC report assumes the number of Ebola cases cited by the World Health Organisation has been significantly underreported.<br /><br />It suggests there already may be around 20,000 cases of Ebola infection.
