The world must come together and collectively reject what has become a “cancer of violent extremism”.<br /><br />That message from the US President at the UN General Assembly, where he said militants are “perverting one of the world’s greatest religions”.<br /><br />He vowed that ISIL must be destroyed and their ideologies of hate exposed and renounced. <br /><br />“The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force,” he said. “So the United States of America will work on a broad coalition to dismantle this network of death.”
