KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Karachi South Zone police on Thursday arrested at least four accused in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid’s murder case after an operation. The Additional Inspector General (IG) confirmed that Zahra Shahid was a victim of targeted killing, Dunya News reported. <br /> <br />According to the sources, the police had arrested one accused after a raid yesterday (Wednesday) whose arrest then led to the arrest of three of his accomplices. <br /> <br />Reportedly, the murder weapon has also been recovered from the arrested accused. <br /> <br />The police said that the accused are residents of Clifton Phase 1 area. Additional IG said that Zahra Shahid’s murder was indeed an act of targeted killing. <br /> <br />PTI’s Zahra Shahid was murdered on May 18, 2013 outside her house.
