Mahindra launched all new generation of Scorpio in India starting from Rs 7.98 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai, with the top-end variant costing Rs 11.46 lakh. <br /> <br />The SUV is based on new platform and adores LED headlamps with projector units also infused into the cluster. The engine specifications stands affirm with 2.2L mHAWK diesel engine and a 2.5L m2DiCr 4-cylinder oil burner. <br /> <br />However, six variants are currently rolled out: S2, S4, S6, S8 and S10, whereas S4 and S6 to have safety packages for an additional cost. <br /> <br />Five colors are made available to the showrooms. Automatic version is still under the wraps, whereas the only transmission available is 5-speed manual only. To be a bit precise, the sides are retained to that of the existing generations, whereas the air-vent on fender is all new. As per the officials of Mahindra, suspension is also marked with newness for a better ride and agile handling.
