Rescue workers are nearing their goal in an operation to retrieve a Spanish national from a cave in Peru.<br/> <br />Speleologist, Cecilio Lopez had been cave diving with colleagues last week when he fell five meters into another section the cave.<br/> <br />The rescue operation includes experts from around the world.<br/> <br />Lopez has been receiving medical treatment and food.<br/> <br />Officials are preparing specialized equipment to keep him stable during the rescue as he likely has a few broken ribs and back injuries.
