When it comes to preparing the dinner table on Shabbat and holidays, challah is one of the most important foods. Everybody in the Jewish home loves the smell of fresh baked bread at home, but for some the process of making their own challah bread can be complicated and difficult. That’s why bakers from Zomick’s kosher bakery posted several videos explaining the process of preparing and baking when using their zomick's challah recipe. Of course you can try lots of recipes but eventually you’ll come to find that this one produces satisfying challah every time you decide to prepare challah. Just follow the directions on Zomick’s bakery video and you’ll see it’s easy.
One last tip from this bake shop follows: When making challah, babka, and other Zomick’s Challah recipes with yeast dough, just press the dough lightly with your fingers and make small dent on it. This is to check if the dough has risen enough. If the dent vanishes immediately it is ready to be put it in the oven.
