Spain forecasts stronger growth in 2014 and 2015

Spain’s government has raised its growth outlook for this year and next.<br /><br />The Economy Minister Luis de Guindos now says the economy should expand by 1.3 percent this year, slightly better than its previous forecast of 1.2 percent.<br /><br />For 2015, the government is now projecting gross domestic product will grow 2.0 percent. Back in April it was forecasting 1.8 percent. <br /><br />The Madrid government is also expecting unemployment to ease from 24.47 percent of the workforce currently to 22.2 percent in 2015 as the economic recovery gathers pace. <br /><br />The latest forecasts came in a statement issued following a weekly cabinet meeting<br /><br />with Reuters
