Part of Hollywood's famed Sunset Boulevard was shut down on Friday (September 26) after a water main burst, sending thousands of gallons of muddy water onto the streets.<br/> <br />Crews worked to stem the flow with sandbags, as hotel and store employees scrambled to keep the water from flooding their buildings.<br/> <br />The break was reported around 2:30 p.m. local time, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.<br/> <br />There were no immediate reports of residential flooding, but local businesses said that the flooding was disruptive for their customers.
