ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION).<br/> <br />STORY: Former pope Benedict appeared to be in good health as he arrived for a gathering of elderly people in St. Peter's Square on Sunday (September 28) morning.<br/> <br />Benedict, who arrived on foot, smiled and waved at people as he stepped outside St. Peter's Basilica.<br/> <br />This was the third time the former pontiff, 87, made a public appearance since his resignation in February 2013.<br/> <br />Arriving for the event, Francis walked over to his predecessor and the two Popes embraced each other warmly while Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli performed "Con Te Partiro".
