Xillia 1 closed, in standard JRPG fashion, with a flashy showdown with an all-powerful villain, but the world it created wasn't satisfied with a behind-the-scenes conflict. Real people had real lives to worry about, and the political ramifications of the events of the first game merited analysis. And so, we return to a world we traveled before, with a cast we've met before, headed by a dude who doesn't say much at all.
