ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />The U.S. Secret Service detained a man after a report that shots were fired on Monday (September 29) near the Ethiopian embassy in Washington, D.C., a spokesman for the agency said.<br/> <br />The shots were reported at about 12:15 p.m. EDT (1615 GMT) and there have been no injuries reported, Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary said in an emailed statement.<br/> <br />Washington, D.C. police, State Department officials and Secret Service agents are on the scene, the spokesman said. Repeated phone calls to the embassy went unanswered.
