Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated August 29th, 2014

- NATO Secretary General Rasmussen has said that although Moscow denies it, Russian units have entered Ukraine.

Adnan Oktar: There is no love there, either. They want to leave Russia isolated. Russians are some of the finest people in the world. Is that not a disgrace? Why do you want to isolate them? Europe should embrace the Russians. They are luminous people, hard-working and polite. They enjoy art and classical music. They are modest and have seen countless troubles. They went through the horror of communism. If you isolate the Russians and leave them alone in that cold country, you will make them unhappy and destroy the entire nation’s happiness. That would be a shame and a sin. That nation should be strong, too. Let them rejoice, too. There is no need to set them aside. That nation are your brothers. Aren’t they? Immaculate people.

- Teacher Adnan, you know that when America wanted to open bases close to Russia during the time of President George Bush, all of Russia fiercely opposed that. But Putin allowed it, saying, ‘We want to be friends, we trust America right from the top.’ As you have said, they want to be friends, too.

Adnan Oktar: Putin is a courageous person. Of course he makes mistakes. Of course he has defects. He is not flawless. But in the general sense he is courageous. They could make much use of him for world peace and brotherhood. Who knows who will replace him? We must make good use of this opportunity.
