Search parties have found two more bodies on the summit of Japan's Mount Ontake nearly a week and a half since the volcano's eruption.<br/> <br />The search continues for 10 more hikers still missing in what has become the nation's worst volcanic disaster in a century.<br/> <br />At least 51 people were killed on September 27 when 3,067-metre (10,062-foot) Mount Ontake erupted without warning, blanketing the crowded summit with a deadly rain of ash and stone.<br/> <br />Rain and a typhoon have hampered the search, turning ash into thick mud.<br/> <br />Many households in the foothills of the peak were evacuated out of concerns that heavy rains could cause mudslides as ash washed downstream.
