Eddy (aka Eddie) Carlew, a bandleader and drummer about who almost nothing is known, left us only two sides, recorded in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1927. Further members of this band, which also performed under the denomination "Baby Aristocrats", were Harry Conner, trumpet; Sarge Farrell, banjo and Frankie Roberts, clarinet, alto saxophone; the other musicians, though, were unidentifiable.
