CDC investigating Ebola protocol, as second U.S. patient confirmed

U.S. health officials say a breach in protocol at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas caused a female health care worker to contract Ebola.<br/> <br />That makes her the first person to become infected with the deadly virus inside the U.S.<br/> <br />The care giver was closely treating the first patient diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S. -- called the "index patient" -- before he died last week.<br/> <br />CDC Director Thomas Frieden says investigators are looking closely into whether two high risk procedures -- kidney dialysis and a respiratory tube in the patient's windpipe -- may have been responsible for spreading the virus<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: CDC DIRECTOR THOMAS FRIEDEN SAYING:<br/> <br />"Both of those procedures may spread contaminated materials and are considered high-risk procedures.
