A Sudanese medical official in his fifties who was working for the UN in Liberia has died of Ebola in a hospital in Leipzig, Germany.<br /><br />Another person has left hospital after five weeks treatment, while Frankfurt hospital is still treating a third. Ebola has so far killed more than 4,000 people, mostly in West Africa.<br /><br />Meanwhile in Britain where the authorities say they are expecting to deal with a handful of cases at most, screening of passengers deemed “high risk” has begun at Heathrow airport, even if medical opinion is that arrivals screening has only limited impact. <br /><br />EU ministers meet on Thursday to discuss EU point-of-entry screening measures.
