ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br /> <br />STORY: Around 300 Africans seeking to enter Europe made a coordinated assault on the triple barrier that divides Spanish enclave Melilla from Morocco early on Wednesday (October 15), with about a hundred of them sitting on it for hours.<br /> <br />This is the latest in several mass attempts to scale the wall in recent months, and according to local officials five immigrants and five civil guards were injured.<br /> <br />Spain has two enclaves in Morocco - Ceuta and Melilla.<br /> <br />Last year, 4,235 immigrants crossed from Africa into the two territories by swimming along the coastline, climbing the barrier or hiding in vehicles. This figure is a 48.5 per cent increase from 2012 figures, when 2,841 immigrants arrived in the Spanish enclaves.<br /> <br />Many of the migrants enter Melilla - where Spain reinforced the perimeter wall a few years ago - with no documentation.<br /> <br />Every year thousands of African immigrants try to reach Spanish and Italian territory on
