Second US nurse diagnosed with Ebola took cross-country flight

A second nurse who had treated a US Ebola patient has been diagnosed with the virus just one day after taking a cross-country flight. Authorities are now tracing contacts with 132 passengers aboard Frontier Airlines Flight 1143.<br /><br />Texas health worker Amber Vinson took the flight from Cleveland to Dallas-Fort Worth on Monday before reporting symptoms on Tuesday and was immediately isolated at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.<br /><br />Nina Pham, the first nurse to contract Ebola after treating Liberian national Thomas Eric Duncan, remains in a good condition in hospital. <br /><br />Authorities are continuing to monitor 76 other health workers who could have come in contact with Duncan.<br /><br />President Barack Obama has postponed a political trip on Thursday in order to hold a high-level meeting about the Ebola outbreak.
