British band The Defiled have become the first band to play a gig on an iceberg, according to the organisers. <br />The metal band who hail from London set off from Iceland to land at Kulusuk airport in Greenland where they set sail to head towards their eventual gig venue – an iceberg in the Greenland Sea.<br />The stunt was part of a series of events called Jagermeister Ice Cold Gig, which is sponsored by the drinks maker and sees artists play in unconventional and freezing conditions. <br />Previous Jagermeister Ice Cold Gigs have included ex-Busted singer Charlie Simpson breaking a world record by performing in Oymyakon, Siberia in a temperature of -30˚C.<br />No Comment | euronews: watch the international news without commentary | http://www.euronews.net/nocomment/
