Hong Kong's pro-democracy protesters have taken back a key zone in the heart of the city.<br/> <br />Police had cleared large areas on Friday, and demonstrators initially dispersed.<br/> <br />But in the early hours of Saturday, hundreds came back in force.<br/> <br />After the clashes, the government said 26 were arrested, and 15 officers were injured.<br/> <br />Demonstrators say they will continue to demand for free elections in 2017.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Cantonese) FIRST YEAR UNIVERSITY STUDENT, ASHLEY LAI, SAYING:<br/> <br />"I would like to say, it would be impossible to solve the issue by clearing us. After you do a clearance, we will just come out again. What we really need is for the government to face us, to have a dialogue with us."<br/> <br />Hong Kong's pro-Beijing leader CY Leung has offered another chance for talks with student leaders next week.<br/> <br />Plans for dialogue has been scrapped numerous times since protests started, with neither side willing to compromise.
