Indonesia's new president, Joko Widodo sits atop a horse drawn carriage as he makes his way to the presidential palace.<br/> <br />The newly inaugurated Jokowi, as he's known amongst supporters, was escorted into his new residence by outgoing President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who'd been in power for the past 10 years.<br/> <br />Widodo's rise from small town furniture businessman to leader of the world's third largest democracy marks the first time in the country's history that a president's been elected from outside the established military and political elite.<br/> <br />Despite his image as a common man, some say his insistence on transparency and can-do approach may face resistance in the legislature.<br/> <br />Jokowi was sworn in during an official ceremony in parliament.<br/> <br />World leaders including U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott were on hand for the event.<br/> <br />Just weeks after taking office Jokowi will be thrust into the international limelight as
