The search is on for a hero who risked his life by going into a burning building and rescuing a sick man. <br /> <br />The unidentified man, who was wearing a LA Dodgers cap, was filmed entering the flaming house in Fresno, California, and emerging with 73-year-old Robert Wells on his shoulder. <br /> <br />A fire had broken out at the pensioner’s home on Saturday and his daughter Roberta Denise had been unable to get him out. <br /> <br />She said: ‘Number one my grandson, getting him out alive was the number one thing that I had to deal with. The second one, of course, was getting my father out.’ <br /> <br />Mr Wells, who uses an oxygen tank, spoke to ABC30 after recovering from the incident. <br /> <br />He added: ‘I wasn’t going fast enough, so a guy picked me up and carried me out there. He was kind of in a half a run.’ <br /> <br />Emergency crews managed to get the fire under control within half an hour of arriving. <br /> <br />The clip was captured on a smartphone by Beth Lederach.
