Supreme court appellate division fixed December 2 for beginning hearing on the appeal filed by convict Golam Azam against the verdict over crime against humanity during the Liberation War. <br /> <br />A 5-member appellate division bench led by Chief Justice Md Mozammel Hossain set the schedule for hearing on Wednesday. <br /> <br />Four judges of the bench are Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha, Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Mia, Justice Hassan Foyez Siddique and Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury. <br /> <br />Earlier, on July 15, International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 awarded Golam Azam with 90 years of imprisonment for crimes against humanity. <br />Golam Azam submitted appeal against the verdict and sought acquittal from the case. <br /> <br />On 12 August 2013, the prosecutions also filed a plea seeking highest punishment for the war criminal.
