Turkish Kurds mourn those who have lost their lives fighting against Islamic State militants in Kobani.<br/> <br />The mostly Kurdish border town in Syria has struggled for weeks against the insurgents.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) KURDISH MOURNER, MEHMET KIRGIZ, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We have three martyrs today, one of them was a woman. It is said that there are other funerals to be brought here. This is almost a genocide."<br/> <br />Apart from airstrikes by the U.S.-led coalition, they've been on their own.<br/> <br />Turkey has so far refused to help on the ground in Syria.<br/> <br />But they've said they'll help Kurdish fighters from Iraq to enter Kobani.
