A government official says six people have been killed by Tunisian forces who stormed a house in Tunis to end a standoff with Islamist militants.<br /><br />At least two gunmen had been hiding inside the house on the outskirts of the capital city since yesterday.<br /><br />An interior ministry spokesman said that five of those killed were women. The other victim was a man.<br /><br />A child was wounded during the raid.<br /><br />Tunisia had increased security around the capital ahead of parliamentary elections on Sunday.<br /><br />The government had warned that terrorists might try to disrupt the vote.
