Competitors from near and far gathered Saturday in the German town of Unna to take part in tournament combining football and table tennis known as HEADIS. <br /> <br />HEADIS ("header table tennis") is a combination of football (soccer) and table tennis in which players attempt to hit a rubber ball across a net using only their head. It was invented in 2006 by Rene Wegner, a student at Germany's Saarland University.
