Surfers sported their most spectacular costumes while riding waves to compete in the annual Haunted Heats Halloween Surf Competition in Santa Monica on Saturday October 25.<br />Surf shop ZJ Boarding House has held the event for years; co-owner Mikke Pierson said it is a fun way to combine a love of Halloween and surfing.<br /><br />“We’ve been doing this event a whole bunch of years, I don’t remember exactly how many, it’s our favorite event of the year, to get the community down and get silly, dress up and at the same time raise a little money for Boarding for Breast Cancer”, said M.Pierson.<br />No Comment | euronews: watch the international news without commentary | http://www.euronews.net/nocomment/
