Hiding away <br />In the darkness <br />Up in a tall tree <br />It gives me a perfect view <br />A perfect view on this autumn night <br />Of what I want to see <br /> <br />Stars join a full moon on this autumn night <br />Meanwhile, the moon is emiting an ethereal light <br />The stars and the moon together seem to glow <br />Especially on a night quite like this <br /> <br />Then I see them <br />Many of them <br />Riding on broomsticks in the air <br />Witches <br />Witches in the night sky <br /> <br />Staying out of sight <br />Up in the tree <br />While avoiding being caught in the moon's light <br />I can hear the witches cackle happily <br />While they soar across the night sky on their <br />broomsticks <br />Seeing the witches fly across the sky is a majestic <br />sight all in itself<br /><br />Justin Gildow<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/witches-in-the-night-sky/
