The Los Agüizotes festival was celebrated in Nicaragua. It is a dance festival which takes place the last Friday of October, and much like Mexico's Day of the Dead, celebrates defunct ancestors. At sundown, people dressed as ghosts and the dead, parade through the streets in death masks. teleSUR
