Lava flowing from the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii is now about 60 metres from the nearest house and could reach it in a day.<br/> <br />Authorities on Big Island are now preparing to issue evacuation orders to around 8,000 people living in the area.<br/> <br />The lava first emerged in late June and has made its way through miles of thick forest.<br/> <br />The volcano has been erupting since 1983.
