The ignorant frail form opened the lower drawer, <br />Then the second drawer from the bottom, <br />Then the second drawer from the top. <br />She was looking for something absentmindedly, <br />She could not find what she was looking for. <br />She finally opened the topmost drawer, <br />Forgetting to close the other three. <br />The steel cabinet irked, moving forward slightly. <br />Then it crashed on top of her in a swift fluid motion <br />Not allowing any sound to leave her crushed lips. <br />Not allowing any one to do anything about it. <br />The roll of tape she was looking for flew through the air <br />From the top of the fallen cabinet <br />And landed a few inches from her crippled body. <br />It was the saddest thing in the world. <br />Death by stupidity and large metal cabinet.<br /><br />Warren Augustus de Guzman<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/how-sad-3/
