I sit, I stare, I cry, I wait, <br />To finally show my love has grown so great. <br />To be by your side through thick and thin, <br />Would you forgive me for all my sins? <br />I counter my attacks by denying our love, <br />Now the only answers can come from above. <br />To let the world know just what I mean, <br />When I say my love for you is so clean. <br />A thousand tears have shed since I last saw your face, <br />A quarter year's love is lost in time's space. <br />With each passing moment and breath that I take, <br />I silently sleep, dreaming of you, I wait. <br />To think it's only been one year, <br />An undying love has cost me to fear. <br />Everytime you cry my heart cries too, <br />And everytime you laugh I laugh with you. <br />For you my love has no end, <br />I patiently wait for you, and for my life to begin.<br /><br />Matthew Jenkins<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/wait-for-life/
