They said that heaven has a door, <br />So, i went to knock it one day. <br />I stood there till my soul got soar, <br />and my life went away. <br />I think there is no heaven for me, <br />so, i'll fall down again, <br />constantly and constantly, <br />I fall, spending my life in pain. <br />Maybe i wasn't ready to fly, <br />so, i fell and broke my wing. <br />I never seen a place so high, <br />but to reach it i lost a prechious thing. <br />To reach you, i lost my heart, <br />i wrote you words, but all in vain, <br />and every day-again-i start. <br />If i knew you didn't love me, <br />i wouldn't take this pain i live in. <br />I would have found my own heaven, <br />I would hve reached something true. <br />Because i carry love more than my heart can take. <br />Even though my heart is strong, <br />but with such alove, eventually, it'll break. <br />I have a bruise in my soul, <br />and there is a part missing in my shade, <br />i get no sounds out when i call, <br />and soon i know i'll fade. <br />But still i say, <br />Maybe it's not that bad after all, <br />as every day people love and fall. <br />I know one day i'll get over you, <br />one day i'll love and i won't give in. <br />I'll knock that door and walk through, <br />and see my place in heaven. <br /> <br /> They say that heaven has a door, <br />So, i went to knock it one day. <br />Angels opened it more and more, <br />and in love i got swept away....<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/heaven-s-door/
