Truth is a rare spiritual gem <br />Not held in high esteem by many earthly men. <br /> <br />Truth is universal, obvious, singular and one <br />Of high reason and purpose, like our earthly sun. <br /> <br />Truth can be acknowledged by sense <br />But only the mind will recognize pretense. <br /> <br />Truthful words can appear in more than one verse <br />But only the mind can make a choice and need not rehearse. <br /> <br />Humanity cannot survive if truth is replaced with a lie <br />All can be lost and every promise and dream; will finally die. <br /> <br />The curtain was open and then will close <br />What happens then; who really knows? <br /> <br />Who our parents were much of which is passed on to us <br />Family, customs and tradition; to use as an earthly crutch. <br /> <br />Who we are not as critical as to whom we become <br />Earthly time is a gift that is loaned to everyone. <br /> <br />Man, woman and children part of earth's circular wheel <br />Along with time; the mind has the capacity to reveal <br />. <br />11-14-05 Aho Speaks<br /><br />AHO Speaks<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-truth-27/
