Religion created the friction’ <br />And politicians lit the spark, <br />And the dangerous fire shooted up! <br /> <br />Weapons rose slashing humanness, <br />Slamming the bodies of their brethren. <br /> <br />The sky filled with terror, <br />And innocent eyes with fear. <br /> <br />Humans transformed into savages, <br />Thirsty for blood. <br /> <br />Blind-folded by the so-called religion, <br />They transformed the earth into a living hell. <br /> <br />Slowly, the fire reduced, <br />But the smoke still continues to choke, <br />It carries the potential for future fire. <br /> <br />I see, beyond this terror filled sky, <br />Lies a peaceful sky with fresh air, <br />I’m waiting for the sunrise, <br />And the sky beyond to show up.<br /><br />Ruby Moses Ezekiel<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-sky-beyond/
