It's just a history I tell <br />of what and where so far <br />for I have seen the dawn of time <br />and I lived on the star <br />beyond the place that's known as earth <br />before the moon that shines <br />I have walked the centuries <br />yet feel out of my time <br /> <br />I was there when men were bare <br />I gave them heart and soul <br />I adopted five of them <br />who through the nations roamed <br />each one was a shaman <br />they taught the use of mind <br />the man today is what they gave <br />they were out of my time <br /> <br />Philosophy and poetry <br />the questions still remain <br />religious magic formed from art <br />destiny sustained <br />you only had to follow <br />the path was there to find <br />but greed the monster I had slain <br />put you out of my time <br /> <br />The future's there, it's always been <br />you only have to choose <br />go back to where you should have been <br />you don't have time to lose <br />your fathers knew the secret <br />you don't have to be blind <br />your mothers won't forgive you <br />if you're out of my time <br /> <br />The beauty lies before you <br />you will see it on the morn <br />it whispers high above you <br />when you receive the dawn <br />open up your heart and mind <br />the wisdom will unfold <br />then you'll be out of my time <br />you will be reborn.<br /><br />Charles M.
