The long dual is almost at an end, <br />as Springs gains ground to defend <br />it's flowers and fruits for the new season <br />from the winter's icy slaying, with reason. <br /> <br />Sun rays strengthen and found welcomed <br />by all that has looked, sought and combed <br />to discover new life and a new found love <br />from the warmth of earth's nature and above. <br /> <br />Bursting buds show ever so bravely <br />as they peek out from plants suddenly <br />testing the tomorrow and it's new heat <br />to survive strongly and not to be beat. <br /> <br />Wicked winds wind their ways <br />away from chilly wintry days <br />to find new lands and places <br />and to test many new faces. <br /> <br />Now the feeling is of conceding <br />as the unwanted seems receding. <br />The Spring has now finally won <br />a new season welcomed - begun.<br /><br />Colleen Wright<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/winter-defeated/
