Oh! Luscious, scrumptious sphere, <br />You sit atop the tendrillous pile, <br />Covered with spices and cheese, <br />You are my Everest, my <br />Greatest accomplishment, the <br />Beef’d apple of my eye. <br />You were molded with love, <br />Cooked with care, sizzled with <br />Splendid attention. <br />I dreamt of you constantly, <br />You fill my thoughts, you <br />Send my budded tongue yearning <br />For fulfillment. I hear a <br />Growl, feel a rumble, and the <br />Carnivorous longing takes complete hold. <br />This steaming Italian holy grail of my <br />Culinary accomplishments calls, draws <br />Me forward, fork in hand. <br />Oh!
