Man kills the race <br />and women struggle to keep <br />their men from roaming and <br />letting beer and football stand between them <br /> <br />Children hear parents screaming <br />and see teachers get angry <br />while deep inside anger sprouts like <br />bombs and daisies <br /> <br />She's fifteen and pregnant <br />and people shun her and <br />her boyfriend has left her <br />and late at night she cries alone <br /> <br />War rages on inside me <br />and inside my country <br />killing innocence like stepping on daisies <br />and letting anger destroy with it's fatal bombs <br /> <br />Fatality grows as daisies decline <br />bombs explode into the amber night sky <br />and i hang onto my daisy <br />clinging on with dirty fingers <br /> <br />We all are letting our daisies die <br />and the children are too <br />because no one shows the love <br />and produces bombs instead <br /> <br />my daisy is the last to fall <br />and get stomped on <br />by America herself <br />as she gazes on me with spiteful eyes <br /> <br />and in her pupils I see <br />the explosions of bombs <br />and the blood, <br />of thousands innocent daisies.<br /><br />wild fire<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/bombs-and-daisies/
