I dived inside the ocean of memory <br />And went deeper and deeper <br />Everything around me went still <br />My life began to rewind <br /> <br />Flashing images from my past <br />The sorrows and the pains <br />The joy and the gains <br />I wanted some moments to stay for ever <br />And some to disappear fast <br /> <br />My whole life came before my eyes <br />Then everything became blank <br />I was still, everything around me became dynamic <br />I slowly returned back to the present <br /> <br />The ocean of memory is so vast <br />As life goes on, it grows bigger <br />I do make many voyages <br />Some so enthralling <br />Some full of pain <br /> <br />But my heart doesn’t agree <br />It always wants to swim in this ocean<br /><br />Kavitha Krishnamurthy<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/ocean-of-memory/
