My emotions run <br />Like the sea to the shore. <br />Rising up high <br />Retreating so low. <br />My strength comes, too, in waves <br />Upon the shifting sands of the day. <br />When I'm up, I'm strong. <br />When I'm down, I drown <br />Sputtering back to sanity and reality <br />As each hour passes. <br /> <br />So wild is my heart and head <br />So steady is my intent. <br />Yet not knowing is like being <br />Squeezed and not breathing. <br />Then in flows the water again <br />And I can breathe <br />The fresh wind that blows on my face. <br /> <br />(3.21.7 Inner Thoughts (PFD)<br /><br />Heather Z.
