Night settles into place and you come to mind. <br />It's cold and lonely tonight. <br />The moon is not out. <br />Nor are the stars. <br /> <br />It's a pitch black night sky. <br />There’s no one here with me as I walk these streets. <br />What I'd give to have you by my side right now. <br /> <br />But I feel so distant from you. <br />I feel as though you've put me at a distance now. <br />So why am I here thinking about this? <br /> <br />I know now its cause I love you that much. <br />You can put me at as much of a distance as you want. <br />You could put me on the moon and you be here on this earth and I would still love you. <br /> <br />This night is so lonely... <br />There's no one here to comfort me. <br />I miss you... <br />I can't get over you and I've tried. <br /> <br />Just like the night sky needs the moon I need you. <br />But I could live without you I guess, <br />Although it would be hell. <br /> <br />The night sky is pitch black, <br />So alone. <br />There isn't a single star in sight and the moon is hidden. <br />It's a pitch black endless abyss. <br />That's how it is without you. <br /> <br />I'm lost on these empty streets as I wonder them alone. <br />There's no one here to guide me anymore. <br />There's no one... <br />No one at all... <br />Just like this night sky has no light... <br />There's no one there anymore.<br /><br />7Shadows Teed<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/pitch-black-night-sky/
