How do you remember a person?
Not just any person, a friend, a relative, or a loved one.
How can you know if you want to remember them?
Did this person make a difference in your life?
Did this person brighten your day?
Did this person give meaning to your day?
Did this person make you want to get out of bed each day?
How do you know this person?
Is this person a relative, friend, or a stranger?
How do you remember them?
Did they have a unique personality?
A great laugh? or funny laugh?
Are they the only one who can make you laugh?
Did they have a bright smile?
Is they the only one who is able to make you smile?
Is it your relative? Or is it your best friend?
Can you describe that person?
In order to remember, you need to be able to describe the person.
What stands out the most out of the person?
Their smile? Their eyes?
Their hair? Their voice?
Their personality? Their sense of style?
Did they have a glint in their eye?
These small things add up and you'll remember the small things.
Remember what they liked, their favorite color, and their favorite song.
If this is your best friend, these wont be hard questions
Trust me... remember the small things.
These small things add up and maybe your best friend see these things in you.
If they can't, maybe they aren't worth remembering.
And if that person is gone somewhere else,
how do you tell them,
I'm thinking of you, wherever you are?
Hope to God they think of you, wherever you are too.
Then they are worth remembering.

natalie vail

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/remembering-someone/
