I’ve taken to spending more of my time <br />Being somewhere else instead of on-line <br />Every other day I give myself a break <br />And I’m not sure what conclusion to take <br />Am I starting to tire of the glare of the screen <br />Do I think there could be more to life’s scheme <br />Is the technology starting to grind <br />Do I need a release to open my mind <br />Could it be that my time is so thinly spread <br />Or just that it’s cold and I wont leave my bed <br />Maybe it’s just that I gain inspiration <br />When I am at a different location <br />Does the keyboard seem scary and hungry to me <br />Does my mind need the clean fresh air to be free <br />Do I feel like the outside is where I belong <br />Is it too much effort to turn the computer on <br /> <br />I don’t know what the answer is, I doubt I’ll ever know <br />But I’ll keep writing these poems wherever I may go <br />If that’s a good or bad thing I don’t know any more <br />But I might as well keep going now I’m at number 64<br /><br />Flying Lemming<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-poem-a-day-project-day-64/
