I just knew why and finally, <br />i found an answer for my questions. <br />He tried but he couldn't love me, <br />and he was lost in so many directions. <br />He was asking him self why, <br />why can't he feel the same? <br />He blamed him self for making me cry, <br />and two days later, he forgot my name. <br />It hurts more than any other thing, <br />i made excuses in my mind, any thing but this. <br />But i couldn't imagine the pain it bring, <br />no one feels it but me and it's such a lonliness. <br />I spend so many nights, saying it's not over yet, <br />telling my self that it's only a matter of time. <br />And he'll be back, i'm not some one he can forget, <br />he'll be running back to me, for he's always mine. <br />But he couldn't love me and what can i do, <br />i'm under that spell forever, lost in his charms. <br />That's the end of every thing, it's true, <br />i'm not ending up as his love and not in his arms. <br />He couldn't love me and i couldn't forgive, <br />but surely i can forget, it can't be that hard. <br />I don't cry any more and i'm able to live, <br />i saw beauty in other things and i'm healing my heart. <br />But as for some one like you, <br />it'll be hard not if the hardest of all. <br />You love every day and then it's through, <br />still, you'll end up alone no one'll be there when you fall..<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/he-couldn-t-love-me/
